Therapy duration
The initial appointment lasts one to two hours and involves collecting medical history and discussing life circumstances. The duration of the follow-up treatments is one hour. The number of therapy sessions depends on your needs. Having multiple treatments that occur regularly to achieve lasting changes can be beneficial. We typically suggest five to ten sessions.
House calls and remote
The practice can be found in the heart of Zurich, near the main train station. If you cannot visit my practice, I can schedule appointments at your home, nursing home, clinic, office, or even outdoors in nature, wherever you need support in Zurich. I also provide online sessions.
Individually or in a group
The focus for individual work is based on your current needs. We create a plan and set goals that consider your wishes and objectives.
Group sessions consist of two to six participants, focusing on breath, body, and awareness exercises that promote deep relaxation. If you would like to join a group class, please contact me.
Costs
Health insurance companies recognize breath therapy as a complementary method. If you have supplementary insurance for alternative or complementary medicine, your insurance will cover most of the costs. Please check with your health insurance provider.
The hourly rate for an individual treatment is 120 francs. For body-centered work in a group, it is 30 francs per person. I partner with Caritas KulturLegi in the canton of Zurich to support people with financial constraints.
If you cannot make your appointment, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the session.
Code of ethics
As a therapist, I am committed to providing responsible treatment and maintaining confidentiality for everything entrusted to me during sessions.
Limitations
Breath therapy is not intended as a substitute for medical or psychotherapeutic treatment but as a complementary method.
